There are many different things to enjoy including walking the pre-historic Ridgeway Path, visiting the ancient cities of Salisbury and Bath, Stourhead Gardens, Stonehenge, Castle Coombe, the National Trust Village of Lacock, Longleat House and Safari Park, to name but a few. Archaeologists will delight in this area with over 4000 prehistoric remains dating from 4000BC making Wiltshire’s countryside unique. Further afield are Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Wells, Bristol and the Dorset coast. Bath is 12 miles. Village Pub, Restaurant, Post Office, Shop and Café - 500 yards.  | ||
