The south-facing, terraced garden has views to the sea from a swing-seat and the coastal micro-climate is warm enough for nectarines and apricots to grow.Things to see: the swannery (a must), which has been in the village since medieval monks kept swans for the table; 21 acres of sub-tropical gardens and a children's petting farm by the village pond and old tithe barn. You can walk to these, and to the massive sweep of shingle beach. 15 mins drive is a sandy/shingle beach at Burton Bradstock.
