Each has a separate private garden which is accessed from the double bedroom on the ground floor. A bathroom leads to the stairs which bring you into the living area. A fully equipped modern kitchen and large lounge with comfortable sofa beds are on the first floor. An outside balcony, with table and chairs, overlooks the garden and has spectacular panoramic views across the Gulf of Olous. Private parking is available. The Area The village is the venue of choice for many famous celebrities and has a good selection of restaurants, tavernas and bars. The sandy beach, near the main square, has excellent bathing and, like most beaches in the area, proudly flies the 'Blue Flag' for water quality and cleanliness. A car is recommended, although not necessary, in order to fully explore the area. A wide variety of local wildlife and birds can be seen and the area is a popular venue for artists and photographers. Sunrise and sunset are particularly spectacular, with the changing hues of the mountains across the bay. Leisure Golf (short course locally, full course about 40 minute drive), swimming, snorkeling, winsurfing, scuba diving, water sports, historical sites, archaeological sites, museums, and of course, sunbathing are all close by. A variety of excursions, boat and coach trips are available. Private driver/guides can also be arranged on a daily or weekly basis. | ||
