In addition, within easy access there are coarse fishing lakes, game fishing, 2 golf courses, and riding stables. Our self-contained cottages (some beamed) have been converted from redundant barns and are ideal for a break at any time of the year. They are centrally heated, comfortably furnished and each has a fitted, fully equipped kitchen (microwave; oven; hob; fridge) and colour TV, two cottages have 4-poster beds and 2 have open fires. The three-bedroom cottages have a dishwasher and washing machine. Stable Cottage (2 bedrooms) also has a dishwasher. In addition, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and irons in a shared laundry room. The cottages, surrounded by farmland, are set in their own grounds and benefit from having resident owner-operators (new owners in 2002). Nearby, there are two pubs, both of which serve good food and welcome children and, within walking distance there is a village store/Post Office/garage. | ||
