It's only a short stroll to Appledore's historic Quayside with its maze of narrow winding streets, art and craft galleries, pubs, and restaurants. Haldon sleeps 6 with three bedrooms, sitting room, dining room, and kitchen. Appledore situated on the Taw/Torridge estuary has been an important maritime village for centuries. It still retains it's narrow streets, cobbled courtyards and tiny fishermen's cottages making this a great place to explore on foot. Children love crabbing on the Quayside, taking the ferry to the beach across the river, or enjoying the traditional seaside delights at Westward Ho! Haldon is conveniently situated on the road leading down to the Quayside.
