He was the benefactor who provided Boscastle with its fine sea walls. The Riverside Hotel, situated along the River Valency, has many spacious rooms with river or harbour views. The Hotel and Restaurant have been completely refurbished to a higher standard than before due to the floods of 2004. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions, full central heating and ensuite facilities in every room. Furthermore there is a bar, garden next to the River Valency and restaurant located on the ground floor and outside. The Hotel is only five minutes from the South West Coastal path and the Harbour but is situated in the centre of the village. We are adjacent to all amenities with excellent restaurants and pubs nearby.
