Located in a quiet little village by the stream, the ETC 4-star cottage is gas centrally heated, and also has an open fire, just right for those looking for a relaxing evening after a hard day's walk. It has:
  • a lounge with an open fire, colour TV, video recorder, CD player/radio and mobile phone
  • a large dining room/kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee maker
  • one double bedroom with king size bed and additional Z-bed
  • one twin bedroom with two beds
  • a bathroom with shower over bath, handbasin, W.C. and a drying cupboard.
There is parking space for two cars at the side of the building.

Spa Cottage dates back to the early 19th century and has recently undergone extensive improvement, whilst still maintaining the original character. With its storage heating and wood burning stove it provides a warm and cosy home for four. There is a pleasant and sunny rear garden complete with patio furniture.Braithwaite is a pretty Lakeland village in the North Lakes tucked between Grisedale Pike and Skiddaw where the unspoilt Newlands Dale joins the Valley of Derwent. The cottage stands in a row of old stone cottages at the side of the Coledale Beck.Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwent are within 5 minutes and the Valleys of Borrowdale, Buttermere and the Whinlatter Forest are close by.
