In about 1880 two back gables were added to the house, together with the Stable. Attached to Lufflands are two high quality self catering cottages, set in an attractive courtyard. Barn Cottage was converted from the original Longhouse Barn. Cider Cottage was originally used for cider making. Both cottages have been awarded an English Tourist Board Grading of 4 Stars. Barn Cottage accommodates up to 6 people and includes: large open plan beamed sitting/dining room well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine ground floor bathroom including shower A feature of Barn Cottage is the open tread pine staircase leading out of the living room. The comfortable lounge area has a colour televison and video recorder and there is electric background heating along with an electric fire. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, plus a second toilet with wash basin. Cider Cottage accommodates up to 5 people in comfort. With rooms and access on ground floor level, this cottage is also suitable for wheelchair users. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well equipped, cooker, microwave, fridge with washing machine. The sitting area has a bay window, overlooking a pretty courtyard and has a colour televison and video recorder.
