Susan and Tony Clarke moved to Brackenthwaite Farm in 1976. They began letting Keepers Cottage which had been converted from a butcher's shop by the previous owners but which had never been used for self catering purposes. A Caravan Club certificated location was also established the same year. In 1988 some old stables which had been used for workhorses were converted to make two additional cottages. The cottages have proved popular over the years with many visitors returning regularly. | ||
