There is a communal pool on the development. The lounge is spacious with seating for six at the dining table and Satellite TV with all major English channels. The master bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe, double bed, 2 bedside 3-drawer cabinets, dressing table with mirror. The second bedroom is spacious with 2 single beds, a bedside 3-drawer cabinet and large double wardrobe with full-length mirrors. Bedroom three has 2 single beds, two bedside 3-drawer cabinets and a fitted wardrobe. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, cooker, toaster, iron, ironing board, washing machine and microwave. All bedding and towels (except beach towels) are supplied. On the large rooftop solarium there are sunloungers, a table and 4 chairs, shower and small barbeque is provided if you want to eat al fresco. La Marina is situated approximately 20 minutes drive from Alicante Airport, 10 minutes drive from Guardamar, 20 minutes from Torrevieja and 5 minutes drive from the Blue Flag beach. It is a well developed urbanisation with several commercial centres whose local amenities include banks, public swimming pools, snooker club, bowling club, supermarkets, national health doctor, private clinic, pharmacy, newsagents, and plenty of bars and restaurants (Spanish, English, Chinese, Italian & German). There is a good nearby bus service to all local towns and markets as well as to the beaches in the summer. The beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches offer safe bathing and are approximately 5km long. Eating out is varied and inexpensive. For golf lovers, the closest course is La Marquesa situated at Rojales about 5 miles away. Las Ramblas, and Villa Martin, a championship golf course, are within a 20-minute drive. | ||

The south facing apartment has a sheltered porch with table and chairs for "al fresco" dining and a patio area with sun loungers that can be wheeled to the communal pool which is situated a short walk down the road. The property has been fitted with lockable gates, an added security feature for families with young children. The one double bedroom (with king size bed) and twin bedded room sleeps 4 people, both rooms contain ceiling fan lights, fitted wardrobe and drawers. There is also a rollaway fold-up bed to sleep 1 extra person (suitable for a child). The lounge/diner has a ceiling fan light, two settees, side dresser, coffee table, dining table and four chairs. For entertainment there is a CD/radio cassette player and Satellite TV with 13 English channels. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven, washing machine, electric kettle, sandwich maker, toaster, microwave, kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Additional items include safe, heaters and blankets for the winter, beach parasols, windscreen sunshield, cool bags and blocks. We are close to a variety of Mediterranean Blue Flag award beaches and 3 golf courses, including Villamartin. The town of Torrevieja is a short drive away. Just a short walk away are supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A car is recommended when staying at our apartment. Alicante airport is 50 kilometres (30 miles), approximately 40 minutes drive.
