We are only a short walk from six local hostelries, all serving evening meals, also the village has many tea rooms and cafes for lunches and light snacks. Children over 12 years old are welcome. There is an indoor heated swimming pool behind the house which is available all year round for guests. All the cottages offer a high level of comfort, are centrally heated and provided with bed linen, towels, crockery, fridge freezer, TV video and radio cassette, microwave oven and electric cooker. Cots and high chairs are available on request. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier, additional freezer space and a payphone. All around there is superb walking country, and the wide choice of sightseeing opportunities includes Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton Spa and the famous Blue John Caverns in nearby Castleton.
