They are all tastefully furnished with direct dial telephone and lots of thoughtful little extras, and all with private bathrooms. We find guests do not seem to spend many waking hours in them, for there is so much countryside to enjoy, and in any case there are very comfortable public rooms with lots of magazines, books and an open fire. There is a television in all the rooms. The quaint stonewalled lounge bar is popular with visitors and locals alike, and in the summer months, everyone enjoys the delightful garden, bordered by the village beck. | ||
