We also have chickens, ducks and geese - their chicks, ducklings, and goslings will arrive earlier or later as their parents see fit!! We also have a goat, friendly Border Collie and farm cats. Wildlife includes RED KITES, buzzards, sparrowhawks, numerous small birds, otters, polecats, badgers and foxes. They visit when they want - so there's no guarantee you'll see them! Excellent vehicle access - just 50m from the B4334 along our wide tarmac drive. Ample parking. Tastefully furnished throughout, the bedrooms benefit from DORMA soft furnishings, new pine beds and superior 'Silentnight' mattresses. Colour TV, clock-radio alarm, hair-dryer, beverage facilities, bath robes, and so on. For your extra comfort in the winter months we provide electric under-blankets plus supplementary heating in the form of electric fan heaters (in case you want to stay up really late after the central heating has gone off!) The Bay is home to Dolphins and other interesting sea life. These can often be spotted from the shore or from boats that sail frequently along the coast. Details of local salmon and trout fishing on the River Teifi and of the Llandysul Angling Association, can be forwarded on request. There are a number of other local features of interest within an easy driving distance, including narrow gauge steam railways, craft centres, leisure centres, the National Coracle Centre, canoe trips on the River Teifi, gold mines, Brechfa Forest, the National Botanical Garden of Wales, Aberglasney and other historic parks, gardens and buildings. Within walking distance, Capel Dewi offers Rock Mills (one of the few working water woollen mills left in the country) and a trout fishing lake. Local wildlife includes Red Kites and Buzzards which regularly fly over Dewi Villa’s garden. A booklet and map is available for those who wish to take advantage of the eleven local walks - the scenery is spectacular and there are strolls along the riverbanks, woodland walks, country lanes and stone bridges.
