We offer B&B accommodation in one very comfortable large twin room with ensuite facilities. The bedroom has Sky TV, a fridge, drinks cabinet, mini library and tea/coffee making facilities. It has its own private entrance which means you have total privacy.

With over 20 years chef's experience, we guarantee that our breakfasts are hearty and varied for both meat eaters and vegetarians. You can even take 'breakfast in bed' any time up until 10.30am if you wish. After all, you are on holiday! Our gourmet breakfasts are made with organic and free range produce. But if you prefer a simple breakfast with just a croissant or two, just ask! Special diets (e.g. gluten free, dairy free) can be catered for. Vegetarians welcome.
For an additional charge we can provide an evening meal (advance booking essential).

Our herb garden is a very beautiful and peaceful place to sit and read. The colours, textures, smells and shapes make it a haven for artists and gardeners.
We are very happy to spend time going around our garden talking about the herbs and their uses. Guests can make their own herb teas.

Lochgair is a wonderful place for exploring the Argyll countryside and seashores. Visit the standing stones and carved stones at Kilmartin, just 15 minutes drive away. Inveraray with its castle and jail museum is 25 minutes away. The royal burgh of Campbeltown is 90 minutes drive.

Take a day trip to one of the islands - Islay, Jura, Colonsay, Gigha, Arran, Bute or even Mull. The furthest ferry point is only 1 hour away at the busy port of Oban.

We have all the books and brochures of places of interest for day trips, plus some ideas of our own not in the guide books!

Lochgair is a great place for walking, cycling, painting, sailing, fishing and playing golf.
Guided local hillwalking can be arranged. Mountain navigation courses are available from the village. Instruction and lessons in canoeing and kayaking are available if required.

We have a small boat and 2 canoes which you can use for free on the loch and visit the local colony of seals.
Or just stroll along the shore to admire the stunning views and scenery, and watch out for a variety of birdlife.
Our guests also have free use of mountain bikes.

We are located at Lochgair on the A83 between Inveraray and Lochgilphead, 80 miles (2 hours drive) from Glasgow.
We are very easy to find - just follow the A82 via Loch Lomond and then turn onto the A83 near Arrochar and follow the road through Inveraray towards Lochgilphead. It is a stunning drive coming over the 'Rest and be Thankful' pass.
