This superb single storey Villa, which accommodates 6 people, comprises of one double bedroom with en suite facilities, two twin bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen & a well proportioned lounge/dining room. There is a large south facing sun terrace which overlooks the Villa’s own kidney shaped swimming pool & private gardens & has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The Villa is fully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen with microwave & a washing machine. Many guests choose to eat out & experience traditional Portuguese fayre which is available at the many reasonably priced café & restaurant facilities throughout the region. The Villa also has a large Algarvian Styled Bar-B-Q that provides an excellent focal point for al fresco entertainment. A regular maid service will be provided throughout your stay to ensure that fresh bed linen & bath/hand towels are available. Our gardener/handyman will pay regular visits to the Villa to ensure that the swimming pool is kept clean, the gardens maintained & for any essential minor repairs. There is a truly Portuguese bar with grocery & post office facilities close by from which you can purchase a number of basic items & two large supermarkets are situated just a few minutes drive away. The Villa is very well situated for exploring the countryside, walking is particularly pleasure around the villa & so too for bird-watching, visiting one or more of the magnificent beaches, playing golf, tennis & other sports or for simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings & taking in the beauty of the region. Whilst access to the Villa is very good we do, owing to its location, recommend that transport is arranged prior to your arrival. Hire cars are relatively inexpensive & are usually picked up & dropped off at the airport. For your convenience, & if required, we can make arrangements for your hire car through a reputable local operator. Please remember you must be in possession of a valid driving licence if you intend to hire a car. Our local representative (English) will normally meet with you at the Villa the morning after your arrival & will be available in the event of any unforeseen problems at the Villa. This attractive well equipped, furnished & decorated new Villa is in a tranquil countryside location & has excellent access from Loule Casa Tranqüila is suitable for a family of 6 people who are accommodated very comfortably, there is also a put-u-up bed suitable for an additional younger person if required. The accommodation comprises of 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 2 twin bedded rooms one of which has an en-suite bathroom & there is also a separate bathroom available. One of the bedrooms has a TV & playstation. The Villa has ceiling fans fitted throughout for the warm summer evenings & central heating for the cooler months. The lounge is light & airy, tastefully decorated and opens out onto the garden & patio area. There is a wide screen television that receives satellite channels, (free to view) to compliment the TV there is also a video player & a Radio/CD Player. The modern fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and a table for six. The kitchen opens out onto the rear garden with its cobbled area, attractive flowers and outdoor table, it is an ideal area for relaxing over breakfast. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The Villa has ample terrace furniture plus table & chairs on the patio area surrounding the pool. The 10 x 5 m salt water pool has wide entry steps & can be heated for the cooler months for a small additional charge. Guests also benefit from an outside pool shower area. There is a good sized Bar-B-Q available for use on the terrace. The Villa is double glazed throughout and has fly screens throughout. Faro Airport, the nearest beaches, golf courses and waterparks are approximately twenty minutes drive from the Villa. Towns close to the Villa are Loulé, São Bras de Alportel and Almancil all of which have a good selection of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment. For guests looking to have a quiet and relaxing holiday or wishing to explore the Algarve or those who just prefer to have a good round of Golf, Casa Tranqüila is situated in an excellent area with numerous golf courses to choose from within easy driving distance. For those guests who like to ramble across the countryside, Casa Tranquila is ideally situated to do just this. The villa is also in an excellent location for those who like to bird-watch & is close to all the major bird-watching locations in the Algarve too. Guests are provided with bed linen, hand towels & bath towels all of which are changed weekly by the maid. Beach towels are not provided. The owners kindly request that guests respect their wishes that Casa Tranqüila remains a "Non Smoking" Villa inside, however smokers may feel free to smoke on the terraced areas outside. In view of the Villas location we highly recommend transport, for your convenience this can be arranged prior to your arrival. The beautiful beaches and world famous golf courses at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura are all within a 15 minute drive from the cottage. Quinta do Vale dates back to the 19th century and has belonged to the same family since then. All the cottages have recently been superbly renovated to a very high standard.
