Our spacious bungalow sits on the edge of Muir Of Ord with lovely countryside views. Just 12 miles west of Inverness, and 1 mile north of Beauly, we are in an ideal position for holidays in the Highlands. Having always lived in the area, we can happily give you advice on where to visit

We have 3 spacious bedrooms (1 double room, 1 twin room, 1 family room) all with ensuite bathroom, TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. No smoking throughout.
All rooms are on the ground floor (no stairs to climb!).
Plenty of off road parking.

Muir of Ord is a handy base from which to explore the sights of the Scottish Highlands.

In addition to the shops, pubs, restaurants and castle in Inverness, there are interesting events every year including local Highland Games and the Inverness Tattoo.
Staying at Hillview Park is ideal for the Black Isle Show in early August and the Strathpeffer Highland Games at Castle Leod (second Saturday in August).

Hillview Park is close to the Glen Ord Distillery which is open daily for guided tours and a wee dram! There are many other whisky distilleries in the region, not to mention the Highland Wineries at nearby Moniack Castle.

To the East: Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor Castle, the seaside resort of Nairn with sandy beaches, Culbin Forest, Brodie Castle, the Findhorn Foundation, not to mention historic Elgin and Pluscarden Abbey, as well as the Malt Whisky Trail.
To the South: Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle (we are only 15 miles from the Nessie centres at Drumadrochit).
To the North: Dunrobin Castle, Caithness and day trips to Orkney.
To the West: take the A832 road across country and into the mountains, following the famously scenic railway line to Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh. Visit picturesque Eilean Donan Castle and the romantic Isle of Skye.
