The two first floor apartments have balconies overlooking the cricket field, the North Tyne River and bridge and Dunterley Fell (Pennine Way) These apartments sleep 6 and comprise of open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms with twin beds and two bathrooms with both bath and shower. Two extra beds are available in the large lounge (average size 18’ x 15’. Double beds available on request. The two ground floor apartments are similar but with one bedroom, one bathroom, disabled access and garden area with patio. There is free use of the indoor pool and sauna, fishing and all other hotel facilities. For walkers Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Water and Forest, Northumberland National Park and the Pennine Way are all nearby. For golfers the highly regarded Bellingham 18 hole Golf Course is opposite the hotel with Hexham, Minto (Scotland) and Slaley Hall all within easy driving distance. The apartments were designed and constructed by John Cocker who transformed Riverdale Hall Hotel in 1979. It is the Cocker family’s 25th year at Riverdale. | ||
