We are on the Messinian peninsula, the South-West tip of the Greek mainland that is part of the Peloponnese. It’s a relatively unknown part of Greece, there is still no package holiday tourism in the area around Koroni. The bungalows are in 2 acres of olive groves and gardens, and there is a sense of seclusion too as the land is not overlooked by any close buildings with the main road 1km further inland. The natural and sandy Gargarou beach is 15 minutes walk (1km) where there are several tavernas. The traditional village of Harokopio is 1km away. The medieval town of Koroni (5 km) has a Venetian castle and along the harbour front there are many cafes, tavernas and restaurants where you can eat by the water’s edge. Further afield you can explore more of the magic of rural Greece: beautiful coastal roads, ancient temples, Byzantine churches, archaeological sites, and medieval castles. There are 4 detached self-catering bungalows, all with sea views. Each bungalow has a double/twin bedroom, a living/dining room with kitchen facilities, 2 bathrooms, and can accommodate 2 to 3 people (4th bed for a child possible by arrangement.)
