The newly built self catering Log cabins and cottage are of a truly excellent standard and many thoughtful extras are provided. We offer very clean and well maintained accommodation for your holiday or short breaks here in Pitlochry.The accommodation is located within a quiet stretch of woodland overlooking the slopes of Ben-y-Vrackie where the landscape is ever changing, never repeated as each day brings new colours and lights. Set in their own secluded area they enjoy uninterrupted views of Strathtummel over open farmland to hills and mountains beyond. There is safe private parking exclusively for guests. The Cottage is situated to the rear of our own Victorian Country home. The Lodges are situated on a higher level, the furthest being 60 meters from the parking area. We have designed this so as to create as natural an environment as possible, using the contours of the land there are flat paths and steps up to the lodges. We are happy to help guests with their luggage on arrival and departure days. Specifically designed to take maximum advantage of the panoramic views, our log cabins are uniquely built and architecturally designed. There are double patio doors leading out from the Lounge area onto a spacious and private deck. This area of Scotland is also well known for its recreation and amenity. Fishing is available from the grounds, skiing is close by and for the golfer there is an excellent variety of courses, including Pitlochry and the famous championship course, Rosemount. East Lodge is a quaint and slightly quirky country property that was originally built as a two roomed gate house for Kindrogan Estate and dates from the early 19th Century. Indeed there is a passing reference to the lodge made by Queen Victoria, in her journal of 1866, when she visited the area. The cottage has recently been extended to include a large lounge, with log burning stove, and master bedroom with en-suite shower-room and breakfasting balcony. The Cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area with an archway which leads down into the lounge area.
