Gabriel Court has always enjoyed a reputation for perfectly cooked English food. Fruit and vegetables in season are from the garden; salmon and sea trout from the Dart, with other fish landed at nearby Brixham; venison and game from Devon estates and poultry and eggs from neighbouring farms. The hotel has a bar with a conditional licence and has a well stocked cellar. Children are made welcome; cots, high chairs and high teas are available and baby listening is possible through the internal telephone system.
