Dinner $25 per person The Pelican is a charming historic homestead set in parklike surrounding on a 400 acre property 6 kilometres from Wangaratta. We run South Devon cattle and breed and train harness horses. Guests can wander down to our private training track to see the horses at work. Two guest rooms are in an upstairs wing - One double with extra single has a private balcony looking over a lagoon fringed with giant redgum trees. One twin with view over the garden. There is a shared bathroom for these rooms. Downstairs is a single room with own bathroom. Birdlife is abundunt with pelicans often on the lagoons and peacocks round the garden. There are lovely walks over the paddocks and round the creek. Dinner by arrangement is served in our elegant dining room or on the patio in warmer months. There is a cosy open fire in the lounge for winter. | ||
