This resplendent mudbrick abode is a delightful adult retreat with lovely sitting rooms in which to relax, with high timber lined ceilings and views over the countryside. Read your favourite novel, listen to soft soothing music or sample a locally grown wine; sitting rooms have cosy wood fires to curl up in front of during the winter months with a night cap. The residence provides smooth transition from indoor living to outdoor entertaining, a delightful area to take refreshment. Leadlight & celestory windows, as well as cool slate floors, adorn the residence in it's tranquil rural environment amidst gum trees. Guest bedrooms have large floor to ceiling windows, warm quality country-style furnishings, queen size antique beds and furnishings with matching accessories. A large shared bathroom provides a large double spa bath to soak your stresses away, or sip a glass of champagne; separate shower unit; separate toilet and powder room. Complimentary toiletries, fluffy bath robes, hairdryers and essentials are provided. Full cooked breakfast is included and may be formal or informal; or may be served outdoors under the shady verandahs, weather permitting. BBQ facilites on the patio are available for guests convenience and tea/coffee is available at all times. The Homestead is only a few minutes drive from many quaint country villages, restaurants, antique and bric-a-brac shops, St Andrews Market, country hotels, racecourses, wineries, galleries, national parks and golf courses.
